Special thank to our parent volunteers and especially our book fair coordinator Mrs. Pam Gurney and Mrs. Mary Dimopolous -- we couldn't have done it without you!.

Thank you also to all of our parent volunteers who helped out throughout the week.

NEWS FROM THE LIBRARY:

Thank you to all students and their families who participated in our Birthday Book Club this year! It was very successful with over 75 new books for our library. We all celebrated with cake, juice and a movie during two lunch hours this week. We wish you all a safe and joyful summer and look forward to seeing you all in September! HAPPY READING!!

THE BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB

The Birthday Book Club is an opportunity for all elementary students at St. Ann’s Academy to contribute to their school library.

Here’s how it works:

  1. During the week of your child’s birthday (or anytime during the school year), (s)he donates a NEW book to the library.
  2. Books should be valued at under $10.00. Good literature suitable for elementary students aged 5 – 12 years.           (NO “board books” please)

 Children receive recognition in many ways;

  1. A certificate is attached to the inside book’s back cover with the child’s name printed on it.
  2. A list display in the library shows members’ donations by child’s name and book title.

AND....a Birthday Party:

In June all children who have contributed are invited to share in a Birthday Book Club celebration with cake, juice and videos in the library.
